ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Sr Software Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for spearheading the Test
Automation effort for all applications for the loan servicing business, starting with mission critical
applications.
• Develop and execute an automation strategy that aligns with the overall software
development and testing goals of the organization. This includes identifying areas where
automation can provide the most value and defining the tools and technologies to be used.
• Define critical success metrics for the test automation and periodically measure
success and report to the management (Automation ROI).
• Create automation design including different types of suites like regression, smoke,
sanity etc. and ensure test coverage, traceability, reusability processes for defect tracking and
reporting are implemented.
• Create strategies for test data creation and management, integration with CI / CD and
DevOps Tools and provide requirements for stable test environment for automation execution.
• Work cross functionally with business partners, software development leads,
architecture teams to prioritize and deliver test automation while providing solutions and process
improvements.
• Work with product teams to adopt in-sprint test automation and execute in all the
phases of software development life cycle.
• Quickly develop deep knowledge in Automation Tools used by the company and ensure
all the best practice tools and techniques are utilized fully in automation development.
• Work within the organizational SDLC practices and effectively estimate test automation
efforts, timelines, resource requirements for timely and successful delivery.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Automation Frameworks: Experience with various frameworks, including in-house
Selenium-based, scriptless & robotic automation, BDD (Behavior-Driven Development), and
TDD (Test-Driven Development).
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including
Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, and Ruby (Preferred)
• Scripting: Experience with shell scripting languages like Bash and PowerShell.
• Automation Testing Tools: Familiarity with a range of tools for various testing types,
such as Selenium (web), Appium (mobile), Qualitia, JMeter (performance), and others.
• CI/CD Pipeline: Understanding and experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure
DevOps, Jira + Bamboo, enabling integration and delivery of automated tests.
• Defect Tracking: Familiarity with defect tracking systems like Jira, Bugzilla, and Azure
DevOps for efficient bug logging and management.
• Version Control: Knowledge of Git, GitHub, or SVN for version control of code and
collaboration.
• API Testing: Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
• Performance Testing: Experience with performance and load testing tools like Postman
or JMeter.
• Bonus: Prior experience with Qualitia is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
• A bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science, MIS or related technical discipline
(or a combination of education and experience)
• 5+ years of leading a manual and automation test programs for large complex
enterprise applications.
• 4+ years' hands-on experience in the design, development, implementation, and the
execution of automated test scripts
• Experienced in developing test strategies and planning approaches for manual and
automated testing.
• Experience creating and executing automated test scripts and report on test execution
status.
• Possesses an active, 'hands-on' style.
• Experienced in writing software defect reports.
• Experience/knowledge of the Mortgage Servicing and/or prior banking experience a
plus
