Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant | Onsite - Austin, TX

Roles & Responsibilities

· Lead D365 Finance implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and support engagements.
· Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable D365 Finance solutions.
· Configure and optimize Finance modules including:
o General Ledger (GL)
o Accounts Payable (AP)
o Accounts Receivable (AR)
o Fixed Assets
o Cash & Bank Management
o Budgeting and Forecasting
o Cost Accounting
o Financial Reporting
· Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, and Operations teams to ensure seamless financial integration.
· Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
· Design and implement Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
· Participate in solution design workshops and business process re-engineering initiatives.
· Develop functional design documents and support technical teams during development.
· Define data migration strategy and validate migrated financial data.
· Coordinate SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
· Drive adoption of best practices and standard D365 capabilities.
· Provide leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and business users.
· Work with executive stakeholders to align ERP solutions with business goals.
· 12+ years of ERP consulting experience with strong Microsoft Dynamics expertise.
· 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
· Experience integrating Finance with:
o Supply Chain Management
o Inventory Management
o Procurement & Sourcing
o Warehouse Management
o Manufacturing Operations
· Strong understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, and compliance processes.
· Experience with data migration, testing, training, and deployment activities.
· Ability to conduct solution workshops and stakeholder discussions independently.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
