Role Summary:
Lead design and architecture for block and NAS storage solutions, backup technologies, and future storage strategy. Provide escalation support and influence technology direction.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and manage storage solutions: Pure Storage, Infinidat (block), NetApp, Isilon (NAS).
Oversee SAN infrastructure: Cisco and Brocade switches, NVMe/TCP Ethernet networks.
Support backup technologies: Rubrik, S3 object storage.
Evaluate new storage products and provide strategic recommendations.
Collaborate with storage engineering team on requirements and escalations.
Implement automation for storage provisioning, monitoring, and remediation.
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years storage architecture experience in enterprise environments.
Deep expertise in block storage, NAS, and SAN technologies.
Strong knowledge of backup platforms and object storage.
Familiarity with performance optimization and capacity planning.
Automation Skills: Experience with Ansible, Python, and shell scripting for storage automation and orchestration.
