Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering Hands On

Job Summary We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering professional to design, automate, secure, and operate hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure environments. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on cloud modernization, infrastructure automation, database migration, and platform engineering. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across cloud platforms, virtualization, networking, and DevSecOps practices, along with the ability to mentor teams and deliver enterprise-grade solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and operation of hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure across on-premises and cloud platforms Manage and optimize environments including cloud platforms, virtualization systems, and container orchestration platforms Design secure connectivity models including VPNs, firewalls, and load balancing solutions Ensure high availability, scalability, backup, and disaster recovery readiness Architect and implement infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform and Ansible Develop and enhance infrastructure-as-code modules and automation workflows Lead database migration initiatives, including design and implementation of failover and replication strategies Manage Kubernetes platform lifecycle, including upgrades, feature enablement, and deployment strategies Configure and optimize load balancing and traffic routing solutions Design and enforce network security architectures, including firewall governance and zero-trust principles Implement and manage API gateway platforms and secure integrations Oversee virtualization and network infrastructure, ensuring performance optimization and segmentation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions Mentor and guide engineering teams, promoting best practices in automation and DevSecOps Lead incident reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives Required Qualifications Strong experience in cloud infrastructure engineering and platform engineering Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid environments Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and NSX Advanced experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms Experience designing and implementing secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers Experience with database platforms and migration strategies, including high availability and failover mechanisms Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices for infrastructure Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure layers (OS, network, database, cloud) Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with API gateway platforms and cloud-native integration services Familiarity with advanced database platforms and data streaming technologies Experience with cloud security tools and web application firewalls Exposure to enterprise-scale infrastructure modernization and migration initiatives Experience mentoring teams and leading technical initiatives Education: Bachelors Degree
