Job Title: ETL/Data Warehouse/Data Lake Developer
Location: Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid) 3 days Onsite and 2 days Remote
Contract position
Job Description:
- At least 5 years of experience as an ETL Developer.
- Develop complex data pipelines to bring data into the Data Lake/Warehouse per business requirements.
- Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
- Proficient in SQL and ETL processes, ETL, and DB performance tuning.
- Design the architecture to perform data management activities, i.e., data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) to the enterprise data warehouse.
- Implement the data management solutions using SQL, SQL procedures, and data management tools like Informatica IICS on the Oracle Exadata database.
- Design the overall architecture to extract, transform, and Load (ETL) data into a data warehouse or data mart and data lake.
- Oracle database full life cycle development, including data modeling, database architecture, SQL and PL/SQL development, unit testing, and support.
- Expertise in PL/SQL Programming, including Data Types, Cursors, Exception Handling, Collections, Merge statements, Analytics Functions, Views,
Materialized Views, Table Functions, Stored procedures, Functions and Packages, database triggers, mutating, Dynamic SQLs, External Tables, Performance Tuning, Object Programming, built-in functions, joins, aggregate functions, Collections.
- Working experience with ETL tool (Preferred - Informatica - IICS)
- Develop data models and ER diagrams for existing and new databases.
- Passionate about complex data structures and problem-solving.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quickly.
- Maintain and improve already existing processes.
- Any Experience in public safety systems is a plus.
