Requirement:
Job Title: Senior Robotics Automation Engineer (Motion Control & Machine Vision) | Onsite Tucson, AZ | W2-Contract
Location: Tucson, AZ (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Pay Rate: $55/hr-$65/hr on W2
Top Skills: Experience with mechanical, electrical, and software prototyping. SolidWorks, Experience with some robotic software (ABB RobotStudio preferred), Motion control systems and machine vision.
Interview Process: Screening call followed by an Oniste interview.
Notes:
- Resource will support the development of industrial automation solutions.
- Strong experience with SolidWorks is required.
- Experience in the medical device industry is preferred. Candidates from the aerospace and automotive industries can be considered.
- Team is currently working with Collaborative Robots (Cobots) and focused on research, development, and prototyping activities.
- Prior experience with rapid prototyping is required.
- Experience with machine vision for calibration, object detection, and robot guidance
- Strong background in automation and motion control systems.
- Experience with electronic control systems, including: PID control, PLCs, Industrial control systems
- Hands-on experience with motion control technologies, including: Stepper motors, Servo motors, Encoders, Feedback control systems
- Role responsibilities will be approximately:
- 70% Motion Control & Automation Engineering
- 30% High-Level Programming (Python)
