Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle DB Developer to support enterprise data initiatives by designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle database solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with application development teams to build data marts, data extracts, and provide production release support while leveraging strong knowledge of Oracle Exadata and data warehousing architectures.

Experience in the financial industry is highly preferred.



Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Application Development team to design and set up new Data Marts and Data Extracts.
  • Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, packages, and functions.
  • Support monthly production release cycles, including deployment and postrelease validation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues using expertise in Oracle Exadata and data warehousing concepts.
  • Manage and optimize database objects, including table spaces, indexes, and partitions.
  • Perform database optimization and performance tuning to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve data quality and performance issues.
  • Support Agile sprint activities, including requirement analysis and defect resolution.
  • Ensure data solutions align with enterprise architecture and governance standards.



Required Skills & Qualifications

Database & Development Skills

  • Strong handson experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
  • Proven expertise in ANSI SQL
  • Experience developing Oracle stored procedures
  • Handson experience managing table spaces
  • Strong understanding of Star Schema data architecture
  • Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension modeling)

Platform & Performance

  • Experience with Oracle Exadata
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Expertise in Database Optimization and Tuning

Process & Methodologies

  • Strong understanding of Agile concepts and processes
  • Experience supporting production release cycles



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Financial Services industry
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively resolve issues
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
