Job Title: Fullstack Java DeveloperLocation: Omaha, NE (onsite 5 days a week)Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team in the fintech space. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our web applications, leveraging technologies such as Ricola, ColdFusion, Angular, JavaScript, Java, REST APIs, and batch processing frameworks. In addition, you will provide support for Windows-based applications built with VB.NET and Visual Basic (VB), ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using Java, Ricola, ColdFusion, Angular, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
- Support and troubleshoot existing Windows-based applications developed with VB.NET and Visual Basic.
- Analyze current applications and architectures to identify performance bottlenecks and technical debt.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement modernization opportunities.
- Ensure the reliability and performance of applications through rigorous testing and proactive maintenance.
- Document technical processes, system designs, and coding practices.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in Java development and web application support.
- Proficiency in Ricola, ColdFusion, Angular, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
- Experience with batch processing frameworks is a plus.
- Strong skills in VB.NET and Visual Basic for Windows application support.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:- Experience in the fintech industry.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
- Knowledge of modern software architecture patterns and practices
The base salary range for this position is $71,000 - $90,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
