Product Owner

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Okemos, MI that is seeking a Product Owner.

Summary:
We are seeking multiple Product Owners to support key business and technology domains. These individuals will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams, ensuring products, platforms, and processes are aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational needs.

Responsibilities:
* Lead product discovery with business owners, customers, relationship managers, operational teams, and other stakeholders to identify customer problems, business opportunities, product needs, and desired outcomes
* Establish and communicate the product vision and goals for an assigned product, capability, or domain, while maintaining the product roadmap within approved organizational strategies
* Serve as a subject matter expert within assigned domain areas
* Serve as the product decision authority for the assigned scope by resolving conflicting stakeholder needs, evaluating alternatives, communicating tradeoffs, and escalating decisions when necessary
* Own and continuously prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, business benefit, operational impact, risk, regulatory requirements, dependencies, and delivery constraints
* Collaborate with Business Analysts, developers, testers, architects, UX professionals, and other delivery partners to evaluate business and technology alternatives and identify enterprise impacts and constraints
* Lead backlog refinement and ensure user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and intended outcomes are clearly understood by the Agile delivery team
* Represent the product in Agile ceremonies and sprint, release, program, and roadmap planning activities
* Coordinate priorities, sequencing, dependencies, and implementation efforts across teams

REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
