Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Loan IQ Business Analyst (Loan IQ Product Specialist) to support a large-scale Loan IQ implementation for a leading Banking client. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level knowledge of Finastra Loan IQ, Wholesale Lending products, and business processes, with the ability to bridge business and technology teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in business analysis, solution design, system integration, migration planning, testing, configuration, and stakeholder management while ensuring successful delivery across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional analysis of Finastra Loan IQ against business requirements.
• Analyze Loan IQ integration with enterprise systems, including Loan Trading, Accounting, Risk Management, and other banking applications.
• Gather, document, and validate business, functional, and reporting requirements.
• Define booking models and workflows for various Wholesale Lending products.
• Facilitate Loan IQ configuration and accounting mapping workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Support test strategy, test planning, execution, and defect resolution activities.
• Define migration strategies, mapping requirements, planning, and execution support for Loan IQ implementation.
• Collaborate with Loan IQ migration leads to identify migration requirements and data mappings.
• Analyze complex business issues, evaluate solution options, and present recommendations to stakeholders.
• Manage business requirements following governance standards to support successful project delivery.
• Participate throughout the Loan IQ implementation lifecycle while developing deep functional and technical knowledge of the Barclays environment.
• Produce high-quality documentation, process flows, functional specifications, and business analysis artifacts.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, enterprise risk management frameworks, and internal banking policies.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business, operations, technology, project management, and vendor teams throughout the implementation.
• Build strong relationships across multiple stakeholder groups to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Lead workshops and discussions to gather requirements, build consensus, and resolve complex business challenges.
• Effectively balance diplomacy with assertiveness while managing competing priorities across multiple workstreams.

Decision Making & Problem Solving

• Analyze complex business scenarios and recommend optimal Loan IQ solutions.
• Clearly communicate functional requirements, solution options, and implementation approaches.
• Translate complex information into structured business analysis and documentation.
• Challenge existing processes and recommend continuous improvements.
• Support large-scale enterprise program delivery across multiple business units and geographic regions.

Required Skills

• Expert-level experience with Finastra Loan IQ.
• Strong experience as a Business Analyst within Banking or Financial Services.
• Deep understanding of Wholesale Lending products and business processes.
• Strong knowledge of Loan IQ configuration and functional capabilities.
• Experience with Loan IQ integrations involving:
  • Loan Trading
  • Financial Accounting
  • Risk Management (Credit and/or Market Risk)
• Experience with migration strategy, data mapping, and implementation support.
• Strong requirements gathering, business analysis, and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting UAT, SIT, and test planning activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including:

  • Visio

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor''s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience using Jira for requirements management.
• Experience using Confluence for documentation.
• Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
• Experience working on large-scale Loan IQ implementation or migration programs.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
