Summary

Role Overview

The Head of AI Strategy & Governance is responsible for defining and executing the enterprise-wide AI vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives while maintaining robust governance, ethical standards, and regulatory compliance. This role leads the development of AI frameworks, prioritizes high-impact use cases, and establishes guardrails for responsible AI adoption across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Define and drive the organization?s AI strategy aligned with business goals and digital transformation initiatives
Establish AI governance frameworks, including policies for ethical AI, risk management, compliance, and data privacy
Partner with executive leadership, product, and technology teams to identify, prioritize, and scale AI/ML use cases
Build and oversee AI operating models, including model lifecycle management, validation, monitoring, and auditability
Ensure responsible AI practices including fairness, transparency, explainability, and bias mitigation
Lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to drive AI adoption and change management
Monitor evolving AI regulations and ensure organizational compliance
Define KPIs and success metrics to measure AI value, risk, and performance

Required Qualifications

12+ years of experience in AI/ML, data strategy, or digital transformation roles
Proven leadership experience in building AI strategy and governance frameworks
Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, data ecosystems, and regulatory landscapes
Experience working with senior stakeholders and driving enterprise-wide initiatives
Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills
