Job Title: MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) L3 Consultant

Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) L3 Consultant with strong expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Microsoft security solutions. The ideal candidate will lead enterprise MFA implementations, migrations, and provide advanced-level support to ensure secure and seamless authentication experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead implementation and migration of MFA solutions, including transitioning from legacy platforms (e.g., Cisco Duo, RSA SecurID) to Microsoft Entra MFA
Design and implement Proof of Concepts (POCs) aligned with business requirements
Configure and enforce Conditional Access policies based on user risk, location, device compliance, and application sensitivity
Manage and configure authentication methods including:
- Microsoft Authenticator (push notifications, biometrics)
- FIDO2 security keys
- Certificate-based authentication
Act as an SME for troubleshooting complex authentication issues, account lockouts, and MFA registration challenges
Monitor security logs, analyze sign-in activity, and ensure MFA compliance across the organization
Review audit reports to proactively identify and mitigate risks
Develop and deliver user training materials for MFA adoption and best practices
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to enhance authentication frameworks

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Proven experience in large-scale MFA deployments and migrations
Strong expertise in:
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Conditional Access policies
Hands-on experience with authentication protocols:
- SAML
- OAuth
- OpenID Connect
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for resolving authentication and access issues
Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300) or similar certifications
Experience working in enterprise-scale environments
Familiarity with Zero Trust security models
Experience with identity governance and risk-based authentication
