Job Title: Mainframe IMS and CICS Developer

Location: Wilmington, DE (Onsite)

Job Type: 12+ Month Contract

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe IMS and CICS Developer to join our client's team in Wilmington, DE. This is a Day-1 onsite position requiring deep expertise in mainframe technologies including COBOL, IMS, and CICS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mainframe application development and batch processing.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL on z/OS
Work with IMS/DB and IMS/DC for database and transaction processing
Develop and support CICS-based transaction processing applications
Write and manage JCL scripts for batch processing workflows
Perform data set management and support mainframe system administration tasks

Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in COBOL
In-depth knowledge of z/OS mainframe operating systems
Expertise in IMS/DB and IMS/DC
Thorough understanding of CICS functionalities and programming interfaces
Ability to write and manage JCL for batch processing
Basic mainframe system administration including data set management and security

Preferred Skills:

Experience with large-scale enterprise mainframe environments
Familiarity with mainframe performance tuning and troubleshooting

Location & Work Model:

Wilmington, DE — Day-1 Onsite, 5 days per week. Candidates must be willing to work from the office starting from Day 1.
