Object Technology Solutions, Inc (OTSI) has an immediate opening for a Staff Engineering Technician
Location – Houston, TX and accross the USA
Description:
• We are looking for candidates who are using ACADE (AutoCAD Electrical) with SDS (Substation Design Suite) in the substation industry.
• Ideally these candidates have been using the software for 3-5 years and can support some of the drafting/design independently.
• We would also be interested in candidates who know only AutoCAD Electrical but have been working in the substation industry.
• We have been seeing a handful of candidates who only know ACADE and not the SDS portion. Our team is willing to teach the SDS skillset, but candidates need to have the substation industry experience.
• If candidates have ACADE only and no substation experience will not be selecting those candidates for interviews.
• 3-5 yrs experience with Autodesk Inventor with SDS (Substation Design Suite) in the substation industry
• MUST have substation industry experience. If candidate has Inventor only and no substation experience, they will be rejected.
Education: Diploma or Certificate preferred. Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
