Title: Optical Engineer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: Long Term Contract
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Optics, Optical Engineering, Physics, or related field with 5+ years of optical engineering experience.
- Strong experience in camera/imaging system design, optical components, lenses, assemblies, and light paths.
- Hands-on expertise with Zemax/OpticStudio or Code V for optical design, simulation, optimization, and tolerance analysis.
- Knowledge of camera optics, image sensors, MTF, FOV, distortion, focus systems, and image quality.
- Experience collaborating with optical suppliers/vendors on requirements, designs, prototypes, manufacturing, and technical issue resolution.
