Purpose of Position

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting security operations, monitoring infrastructure, and contributing to the overall cybersecurity posture of the organization. This role will focus on incident detection, security monitoring, and threat analysis, collaborating with senior cybersecurity engineers and IT teams. Your goal will be to help protect company systems, networks, and data from potential security risks and breaches.

Tasks and Responsibilities
Assist in the monitoring and management of security tools, including SIEM platforms and other security systems
Analyze security incidents and collaborate with senior engineers on investigation and remediation efforts
Support the development of security policies and procedures for threat detection and response
Help in incident response and participate in forensics analysis when security events occur
Perform vulnerability assessments and assist in patch management and security updates
Contribute to maintaining and improving security controls and firewall configurations
Monitor network traffic, endpoints, and cloud systems for anomalies or threats
Assist with security documentation, including maintaining logs, reports, and security standards
Help with security awareness training for employees and stakeholders
Collaborate with other IT and security teams to ensure cohesive security strategies

Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for security issues
