Summary

Overview
We are seeking a motivated Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support in a dynamic enterprise environment. This role requires strong Windows 10 expertise, hardware deployment experience, and excellent customer service skills to support a wide range of end users.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10 operating systems in a networked environment
  • Add and remove users, manage system access, and support basic network connectivity issues
  • Perform PC deployments, hardware installations, and equipment setup for end users
  • Provide field support, including onsite troubleshooting and resolution of hardware and software issues
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to all levels of the organization, including face-to-face support
  • Work independently to manage assigned tasks, prioritize workload, and resolve issues efficiently
  • Document technical issues, configurations, and resolutions as needed

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting Windows 10, including OS installation and troubleshooting
  • At least 1 year of hands-on hardware support experience (PC deployments, installs, field tech work)
  • Strong understanding of working within a networked environment
  • Either 2 years of practical IT experience or an Associate's degree in a related field

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to support a diverse user base
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Professional, reliable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Preferred
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level environments
  • Exposure to standard desktop tools and technologies in corporate IT settings

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Geneva, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
