We are seeking to hire a Senior Data Conversion and Interface Analyst with expertise in Medicare / Healthcare systems (MMIS), to join our teams working on a new multi-year awards we have within several State Gov’t clients, modernizing their Medicare/Medicaid systems. This role is 100% remote.
Being a US Cit is required for working on this program.

Position Summary
The Senior Conversion & Interface Analyst is responsible for leading data conversion and interface implementation activities across Medicaid MMIS and Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) modernization programs. This role serves as a senior technical analyst supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of data migration, interface analysis, source-to-target mapping, data profiling, SQL development, testing, reconciliation, and production readiness.
The candidate will work closely with State stakeholders, Business SMEs, Architects, Conversion Developers, Integration Teams, QA/Test Teams, and Vendor partners to ensure successful delivery of conversion and interface workstreams.
The ideal candidate possesses strong SQL expertise, healthcare data knowledge, interface design experience, and hands-on experience with one of the domains ( claims, member, provider, eligibility, formulary, and financial data domains).
Key Responsibilities
Data Conversion
· Analyze legacy source systems and target solution data models.
· Develop and maintain source-to-target mapping documents.
· Define transformation logic and business rules.
· Conduct data profiling and data quality assessments.
· Validate data conversion deliverables through SIT, UAT, Mock Conversion, and Production Cutover.
· Develop reconciliation methodologies and conversion success criteria.
· Support defect triage, root cause analysis, and remediation activities.
· Coordinate conversion activities across conversion, testing, business, and technical teams.
Interface Analysis & Design
· Analyze inbound and outbound interfaces across MMIS, PBM, MCOs, State systems, and third-party vendors.
· Develop interface specifications, mapping documents, and transformation requirements.
· Support file-based, API, XML, JSON, EDI, and batch integration solutions.
· Analyze NCPDP, X12, T-MSIS, and Medicaid reporting interfaces.
· Define interface validation and reconciliation processes.
· Coordinate interface testing activities with trading partners and external vendors.
· Support production interface cutover planning and post-go-live stabilization.
SQL & Data Analysis
Develop advanced SQL queries for:
· Data profiling
· Conversion validation
· Data reconciliation

Perform:

· Support SIT, UAT, Parallel Testing, Mock Conversion, and Go-Live activities.
· Manage defect lifecycle and coordinate resolutions.
· Validate production readiness criteria.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
· Lead working sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
· Present findings, risks, and recommendations to project leadership.
· Mentor junior analysts and developers.
· Support PMO reporting, RAID management, and executive status updates.
· Drive issue resolution across multiple vendors and solution teams.

Success Criteria (First 90 Days)
The candidate should be able to independently:
· Own one or more conversion domains.
· Own interface inventory and mapping activities.
· Create complex SQL validation and if needed generate reconciliation scripts.
· Lead client-facing requirements and mapping sessions.
· Support SIT/UAT/Mock Conversion cycles.
· Can serve as deputy lead for conversion and interface workstreams when needed
