Genesis10 is seeking a Lead Business Systems Analyst. Candidates can be located in Columbus; Tupelo, MS; Minneapolis; and Dallas. This is a 3-month contract-to-perm position.
Compensation: $60.00 - $78.00 per hour, W2, based on experience and qualifications
Position Overview: In this role, you will be part of a team working to develop solutions enabling the business to leverage data as an asset at the bank. As
Lead BSA Analyst, you will work with the business to understand their needs, document technical requirements, and build/manage the product backlog. Key EDW technologies include Snowflake, DataStage, Python/PySpark, Infogix and Tableau.
Primary Responsibilities: - Serves as a liaison and knowledge source with stakeholders, product owner, and team members
- Work in an Agile environment and is expected to take requirements and effectively develop Features and User Stories with the team.
- Work with the Agile team, Product Owner, and business stakeholders to facilitate and gather requirements, including documenting thesource-to-targett data mappings.
- Work with Product Owner and other SMEs to refine Epics - which triggers creation of Features and User Stories.
- Facilitate backlog refinement sessions to refine user story details, acceptance criteria, and establish story points with team members. These meetings should result in user stories ready to be prioritized into the backlog
- Participate in the identification, quantification, and mitigation of project risks and issues.
- Responsible for working with the Application BSAs to identify and escalate impediments to completing the requirements to the Scrum Master
Core Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a Data Warehouse environment
- 3+ years of experience using SQL to create ad-hoc queries and analyze data
- 5+ years of experience with Snowflake or AWS S3
- Experience leading other BSAs on a project team
Preferred Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in the financial services (banking) industry
- 5+ years of experience in data modeling activities in Erwin or other modeling tools
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards
- 5+ years eof xperience din ata mapping experience creating ssource-to-targetmappings
