Job Details

A well-established mid-sized law firm in Boston is seeking a Senior Associate (7+ years) to join its leading Trusts & Estates practice. This is a key role within one of the most prominent estate planning teams in Massachusetts, advising high-net-worth individuals, families, and their advisors on complex and tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies.

What You'll Do:
  • Draft sophisticated estate planning documents (e.g., Dynasty Trusts, ILITs, family partnerships, and charitable trusts)
  • Advise on estate, gift, and income tax strategies, business succession, and asset protection
  • Guide clients through trust and estate administration, including taxable estates
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients on high-level planning matters and long-term strategies

What We're Looking For:
  • J.D. + MA Bar admission in good standing
  • 7+ years of experience in estate planning and administration
  • Strong drafting skills and attention to detail in complex planning matters
  • LL.M. in Taxation is a plus, but not required
  • Experience in a reputable law firm setting strongly preferred
  • A self-starter who thrives in a client-focused, collaborative environment
