Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support auto lending and auto finance technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to define requirements and deliver effective technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand business goals, priorities, and end-to-end lending workflows.
• Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, security, scalability, and compliance requirements.
• Translate business requirements into well-defined epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Manage and groom the product backlog in Jira, ensuring stories are prioritized, estimated, and sprint-ready.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, clarifying requirements and resolving gaps throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are properly understood and implemented.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution.
• Validate delivered solutions against business requirements and applicable regulatory expectations.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to lending and finance workflows.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong experience with Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Strong understanding of epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working closely with Product Owners, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Auto Lending or Auto Finance.
• Knowledge of loan origination, loan servicing, or dealer financing processes.
• Experience working with financial services or lending technology platforms.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within lending/financial services.
• Experience supporting UAT and business process validation.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have strong Agile Business Analysis and Jira experience, combined with an understanding of auto lending/auto finance processes and the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams.
