We need senior (10+ years ) Business Analysts with recent, extensive experience working in Prime Services/Capital Markets supporting Enterprise trading projects.

Strong domain expertise in Prime Services / Prime Brokerage operations and hands-on experience working with trade lifecycle processes, margin, collateral, financing, and securities lending. Candidates must have experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements in Agile and/or Waterfall environments. Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows, and API-driven architectures. Experience working with front-office, middle-office, and back-office stakeholders.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with a strong background in Prime Services to support technology initiatives within Capital Markets. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and deliver solutions that support prime brokerage functions including securities lending, margin, financing, client onboarding, and trade lifecycle management. The ideal candidate brings deep domain knowledge in Prime Services operations combined with strong analytical, documentation, and systems integration experience.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Act as a liaison between Prime Services business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
2. Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements related to Prime Brokerage platforms and workflows.
3. Support initiatives across securities lending, margin management, financing, custody, collateral management, and client reporting systems.
4. Create business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, use cases, process flows, and data mapping documentation.
5. Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements and successful solution delivery.
6. Participate in system enhancements, platform migrations, and integration projects impacting Prime Services applications.
7. Analyze trade lifecycle data and workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities.
8. Support UAT planning and execution, including test case creation, coordination with business users, and defect tracking.
9. Work with data teams on data sourcing, reconciliation, and reporting requirements across front-, middle-, and back-office systems.
10. Assist with production support, incident analysis, and root cause investigations related to Prime Services platforms.

Required Qualifications:

1. 10+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst within Capital Markets.
2. Strong domain expertise in Prime Services / Prime Brokerage operations.
3. Hands-on experience working with trade lifecycle processes, margin, collateral, financing, and securities lending.
4. Experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
5. Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows, and API-driven architectures.
6. Experience working with front-office, middle-office, and back-office stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.
8. Strong communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with Prime Services platforms or vendor systems.
2. Knowledge of regulatory and reporting requirements within Capital Markets.
3. Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
4. Exposure to cloud-based platforms and modern data architectures.
5. Prior experience supporting large financial institutions or investment banks.
