Does this sound like you?
You are excited about cloud infrastructure, automation, and being part of an international team focused on delivering high-quality solutions that turn our customers into raving fans. As a DevOps Engineer, you are driven to build the platforms and pipelines that let developers ship confidently – and you’re always looking for ways to reduce toil, cut costs, and raise the engineering bar.
What you’ll do here:
The DevOps Engineer is the backbone of Lytho’s engineering platform, owning the infrastructure, tooling, and pipelines that power our products. You’ll work closely with our development teams to ensure they have everything they need to build and ship code quickly and safely.
You’ll own and evolve our CI/CD pipelines (primarily GitHub Actions), ensuring builds and deployments are fast, reliable, and easy to evaluate. You’ll collaborate with sprint teams to streamline their delivery workflows, identify bottlenecks, and automate away manual steps, making it effortless to get code from commit to production.
You’ll manage and expand our AWS infrastructure using Terraform, building scalable, well-architected environments across EC2, ECS, Lambda, and beyond. You’ll keep a close eye on cloud spend, proactively identifying and acting on cost optimization opportunities as we grow.
You’ll be the go-to resource for developer tooling and platform support, whether that’s improving log management practices, containerizing services with Docker, or building internal tools that remove friction for engineering teams. You''ll have a real voice in how we build and operate our platform.
Teamwork relies heavily on active participation from each team member. At your professional discretion, you are expected to contribute ideas, models, and designs during technical discussions to improve the flow of information to build better solutions for our customers. Your knowledge and prior experience are highly valued; thus, you are motivated to share your knowledge with others and learn from their experiences to augment your own body of knowledge.
Your unique personality and viewpoints are the reasons why you are a Lythonian, and you are encouraged to speak your mind towards the forward movement of yourself, your team, the organization, and our customers.
What we’re looking for:
· 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure role
· Strong hands-on experience in AWS services, especially EC2, ECS, and their networking standards
· Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, developer-first mindset
· Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code – Terraform experience strongly preferred
· Experience with CI/CD platforms and delivery toolchains (like TeamCity, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins)
· Solid understanding of containerization and Docker-based workflows
· Comfort with log management and observability tooling (SigNoz, DataDog), and the ability to leverage them
· Familiarity with modern AI tools and an understanding of how to use them effectively
· Basic functional knowledge of programming languages a plus (though not required), especially: Bash, PowerShell, Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript
