Summary




A New York City-based financial services firm is seeking a Power BI / Reporting Analyst for a remote consulting opportunity.


About the Opportunity:




  • Schedule: Monday to Friday




  • Hours: Standard business




  • Setting: Remote (Candidates that can commute to the NYC office on occasion will be strongly considered)




Responsibilities:




  • Lead reporting and analytics requirements sessions with business, risk, audit, and operational stakeholders




  • Define reporting questions, audiences, measures, dimensions, frequency, thresholds, and drill-down needs




  • Develop conceptual reporting views, wireframes, and drill-down paths for cyber risk use cases




  • Translate approved methodology into reporting measure definitions and data element requirements




  • Support limited customization of existing Power BI views and document future-state reporting recommendations




Qualifications:




  • Experience gathering reporting requirements and developing Power BI dashboards, wireframes, semantic models, measures, and drill-down designs




  • Strong knowledge of data visualization, dimensional modeling, DAX concepts, data quality, reconciliation, and report governance




  • Ability to communicate reporting concepts to executive, business, risk, and technical audiences




Desired Skills:




  • Experience with cyber risk, GRC, KRI/KCI reporting, financial services, or regulated environments
