Senior SailPoint Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior SailPoint Engineer to lead the design, development, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow, identity lifecycle management, access governance, certifications, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and support of SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow solutions.
• Serve as a technical SME for SailPoint architecture, integrations, workflows, and access governance.
• Design and develop custom forms, workflows, rules, policies, and connectors.
• Implement time-bound/temporary access, including automated provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Configure and optimize Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) lifecycle processes.
• Design and manage access certification and recertification campaigns.
• Integrate SailPoint with Active Directory, LDAP, HR systems, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot complex identity, provisioning, access, and integration issues.
• Implement IAM solutions based on RBAC, ABAC, least privilege, and SoD principles.
• Lead complex SailPoint initiatives from requirements through production deployment.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and business teams to deliver IGA solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Drive automation, standardization, performance improvements, and continuous improvement.
• Support IAM audits, compliance requirements, upgrades, and production incidents.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of IAM/IGA experience, including 5+ years of hands-on SailPoint experience.
• Strong expertise with SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow.
• Proven experience with custom forms, workflows, rules, policies, and connectors.
• Strong experience implementing time-bound access controls.
• Extensive knowledge of JML identity lifecycle management.
• Strong experience with access certification and recertification.
• Hands-on experience integrating SailPoint with AD, LDAP, HR systems, and enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of IAM/IGA, RBAC, ABAC, least privilege, and SoD.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
