The Impact you will have in this role:
The Cyber Security Risk Office (CSRO) is responsible for setting strategic direction in the areas of IT Risk and Information Security. Maintains corporate security policies and control standards, acts as a second line of defense via a robust collection of risk and credible challenge assessments, reports to leadership and the Board on the status of the IT Risk and Information Security Programs, and serves as the main interface for Regulatory and Client reviews that focus on IT Risk and Information Security.
Help mature the Credible Challenge program and strategic initiatives. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure successful completion and delivery of critical initiatives. Drives decision making and solutioning for medium and long-term CSRO improvement. Ensures initiatives reflect organizational strategic priorities. Monitor Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to track the status and outcome of team initiatives. Promotes culture of learning and growth, enhances team engagement, and provides development opportunities.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Mature and advance the Credible Challenge program by applying structured, evidence-based assessment methods that strengthen transparency, control effectiveness, and cyber risk governance.
- Partner with senior leadership to drive CSRO strategic initiatives.
- Oversee progress toward key strategic objectives by monitoring and interpreting project milestones, risks, and identifying opportunities for course correction and efficiencies.
- Facilitate cross-department collaboration through clear operating rhythms, ensuring coordinated execution of CSRO's strategic roadmap and enterprise-level initiatives.
- Develop and maintain scalable reporting routines, dashboards, and performance metrics that provide leadership and the Board with clear insights into cyber risk posture and program maturity.
- Provide operational excellence by coordinating credible challenge reviews, governance routines, project tracking, and leadership communications.
- Collaborate with leadership teams across CSRO to establish the best internal practices for strategy development and execution.
- Offer flexible, ad-hoc support to leadership to ensure successful delivery of high-priority initiatives and emerging business needs.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Certifications related to the candidate's coverage responsibilities are beneficial, but not required, such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Talents Needed for Success: - Minimum of 8 years of related experience
- Audit and risk management experience is advantageous.
- Capable of identifying, assessing and advising on risks for credible challenge assessments, including cyber security program controls.

About the TeamOur Risk Management teams work to protect the safety and soundness of our systems and are responsible for identifying, managing, measuring and mitigating a spectrum of key risk types including credit, market, liquidity, systemic, operational and technology in all existing and new products, activities, processes and systems.
The Technology Risk Management department is responsible for setting strategic direction in the areas of IT Risk and Information Security. They are accountable for maintaining DTCC's corporate security policies and control standards and acting as an operational arm for monitoring threat intelligence.
