We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Rubber Chemist to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing rubber compounds and formulations for our innovative engineering projects. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge products and technologies while working with a team of dedicated professionals.
Responsibilities:
As a Rubber Chemist, your main responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and optimizing rubber compounds using a variety of materials to meet specific performance criteria.
2. Conducting various tests and evaluations on rubber materials to assess their physical and chemical properties.
3. Working closely with the production team to ensure the effective implementation of rubber compounds in manufacturing processes.
4. Overseeing the extrusion process and providing technical guidance to optimize efficiency and quality.
5. Identifying and resolving technical issues related to rubber materials and processes.
6. Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the latest trends and advancements in rubber chemistry to foster innovation.
7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and launch of new products.
8. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field. A Master's Degree or PhD will be highly regarded.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience in rubber chemistry, including the development and optimization of rubber compounds and formulations.
4. Proficiency in the extrusion process and familiarity with related equipment.
5. Strong experience in mixing and formulating rubber materials.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
7. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
9. A strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations related to rubber materials and processes.
