Summary

Job Description

What You Will Be Doing:

  • O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments.
  • Supporting OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat, and GitOps.
  • Deploying OpenShift to new sites as they come online.
  • Working with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scaling existing platforms to meet them.
  • Working with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions.
  • Supporting data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Stack.
  • Compiling detailed documentation.

Required Skills

Must Have:

  • MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5-8 years' developer experience.
  • Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA.

Desired Skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience deploying and managing RedHat Open Shift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services.
  • Experience with Python, Shell scripting, Git.
  • Knowledge of Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins.

Knowledge of container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general.
