Lead Guidewire Developer (Jutro)

We are hiring a Lead Guidewire Developer (jutro) to lead, coach, and drive our Jutro implementation.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software development across design, build, testing, implementation, and support
• Design and develop Guidewire digital portals using Jutro and React
• Establish and enforce development standards, best practices, and reusable UI components
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and guidance for development teams
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to refine requirements, estimate work, and support sprint planning
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across front-end and Guidewire platforms
• Ensure high-quality releases through unit testing and adherence to development standards
• Create and maintain technical documentation including designs, specifications, and process flows
• Support production deployments, upgrades, and ongoing application enhancements

Required

• 10+ years of overall software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire and previous leadership experience
• Proven experience building digital applications using Jutro and React
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead development efforts and mentor engineers
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00/hr.
