Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of DBT models, transformations, and workflows for Teradata to Snowflake migration.
- Develop modular, reusable, and optimized SQL code while implementing data modeling and data warehouse best practices.
- Validate migrated data, troubleshoot transformation issues, and ensure accurate data delivery across cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams while managing source code using Git.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
6+ years of experience in DBT development, SQL programming, data modeling, and cloud data warehouse migration projects.

Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience leading DBT development for Teradata to Snowflake migration projects.
- Strong understanding of cloud data warehousing principles and DBT best practices, including testing and documentation.
- Proven ability to develop scalable, reusable code and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
