We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager (Industrial) to join our team. As an integral part of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing the overall planning, execution, and delivery of large industrial construction projects. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a strong understanding of the construction industry, and a proven track record in managing multi-million dollar projects. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, coupled with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of project management, including pre-construction, budgeting, scheduling, staging, logistics, and reporting.
  • Develop and implement project work plans, schedules, and budgets while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage all aspects of labor and material, ensuring all resources are efficiently utilized.
  • Develop and implement safety and risk management procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
  • Manage project permits, ensuring all necessary permissions are obtained and regulations are adhered to.
  • Develop and implement phasing plans, effectively managing project stages and transitions.
  • Oversee change management, ensuring project modifications are effectively communicated and implemented.
  • Utilize viewpoint project management software to track project progress and generate regular progress reports.
  • Resolve any project issues or disputes, ensuring all parties are satisfied with the project outcome.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the industrial construction sector.
  • Well verses in ERP systems and Viewpoint software experience preferred
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale industrial construction projects.
  • Proficient in project management software, preferably Viewpoint.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, including pre-construction, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing labor and materials.
  • Knowledge of construction safety and risk management.
  • Experience in managing project permits and regulations.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective phasing plans.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve project issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
