Job Title: Workday Finance Consultant

Location: Onsite – McLean, VA

Visa: Open to all visa types (Finance experience required)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Finance Consultant to support and enhance Workday Financials for a global finance organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional and technical expertise, along with leadership experience in delivering scalable, high-quality solutions within the Workday platform.

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead a team of integrators and configurators supporting Workday Finance modules

·         Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize initiatives and deliver using Agile methodologies

·         Design and implement solutions across Workday Financials, including:

o   Core Financials

o   Expenses

o   Accounting Center

o   Prism

·         Work across finance modules such as:

o   General Ledger

o   Fixed Assets

o   Global Consolidation

o   Invoices, Payments, and Suppliers

·         Communicate effectively with stakeholders and influence cross-functional decision-making

·         Identify process improvement opportunities and partner with finance teams to optimize business outcomes

·         Design and develop solutions using Workday-native capabilities, including:

o   Business process configuration

o   Orchestration

o   Web services and reporting

·         Build automation workflows, conduct unit testing, and perform code reviews to ensure quality and performance standards

Basic Qualifications

·         High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

·         6+ years of Workday platform experience

·         4+ years of experience designing and delivering end-to-end Workday solutions

·         4+ years of experience working with Workday APIs (REST/SOAP)

·         2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role

Preferred Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s Degree

·         5+ years of experience across Workday Finance modules

·         1–2 years of experience with Workday Prism and Accounting Center

·         5+ years of experience in Workday integrations

·         5+ years of experience working with APIs in Workday

·         Experience building solutions using Workday Extend

·         Workday Pro Certifications (Integration Developer, Financial Reporting)
