Seeking a Senior Mobile QA Engineer with strong, recent hands-on experience automating iOS and Android applications, including hybrid apps and mobile retail platforms. This role requires ownership of mobile automation frameworks and end-to-end testing of customer journeys, with particular emphasis on checkout, payments, and promotions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for native and hybrid applications across iOS and Android using Appium.
• Own mobile automation frameworks, including architecture, reusable components, test data, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Validate end-to-end retail journeys, including product browsing, search, cart, promotional offers, checkout, payment processing, and order confirmation.
• Test mobile payment workflows, including successful and declined transactions, refunds, and error handling.
• Validate hybrid app functionality across native screens and embedded webviews.
• Use Git branching, pull requests, code reviews, and merge practices to manage automation code.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and investigate failures.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to define coverage, resolve defects, and support releases.
• Execute regression testing across devices and operating system versions.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on mobile application testing across both iOS and Android, with recent automation experience on each platform.
• Strong hands-on experience with Appium, including developing and maintaining automated tests for both platforms.
• Demonstrated experience automating hybrid applications, including switching between native and webview contexts.
• Proven ownership of a mobile automation framework, including building or substantially enhancing its design and reliability.
• Mobile retail or e-commerce testing experience covering checkout, payments, and promotions.
• Proficiency in a programming language used for automation, such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Practical experience with Git branching, pull requests, code reviews, and merge conflict resolution.
• Experience troubleshooting platform-specific issues using device logs, automation logs, and debugging tools.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Xcode, Android Studio, and cloud device platforms such as BrowserStack or LambdaTest.
• Experience with loyalty programs, digital wallets, coupons, and omnichannel retail workflows.
