Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager / Product Owner with strong expertise in payments and credit card products to drive strategy, execution, and delivery across digital and card platforms. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution within a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, manage, and execute product strategy and roadmap for payments and credit card solutions
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle: ideation development launch optimization
  • Translate business requirements into user stories and functional specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, QA, and business stakeholders
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
  • Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards (PCI), and risk frameworks
  • Support UAT, production releases, and post-launch performance monitoring
  • Drive continuous improvement of customer experience across digital channels

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst in financial services
  • Strong domain expertise in payments (ACH, wire transfers, RTP, digital wallets)
  • Experience with credit card lifecycle (origination, authorization, servicing, disputes, rewards)
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong skills in backlog management, user story creation, and stakeholder communication
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, and digital banking platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with large banking or financial institutions
  • Knowledge of card networks (Visa, Mastercard) and transaction processing systems
  • Exposure to fraud prevention, risk, and compliance frameworks
  • MBA or relevant business/technical degree
