Toledo, OH . (100% REMOTE) Responsibilities :
The Senior Analyst will work on Epic ambulatory, ancillary, in-patient, or revenue cycle healthcare applications systems to develop, implement, troubleshoot, upgrade and support, and evaluate application effectiveness. This position will lead major healthcare applications, project development, design and implementation, maintenance, and problem-solving on assigned applications. Provides excellent customer service to customers and may represent the department with other hospital departments and vendors.
- Leads Epic healthcare applications development, configuration, maintenance, and support.
- Leads and performs the design and implementation of the integrated clinical business-based information systems, supporting clinical business practice, decision making, patient management, and outcomes.
- Leads in process analysis and redesign of healthcare business workflow.
- Mentors Associate Application Analysts and teaches complex application builds.
- Independently researches Epic application issues thoroughly before involving Epic support.
- Primary liaison with vendors in the implementation of healthcare applications, upgrades, and troubleshooting of issues.
- Maintains current Epic certification for primary assigned Epic EMR module(s)
- eads healthcare work redesign, initiates, and processes change.
- Leads the development and implementation of healthcare applications education/training for related healthcare applications and systems users.
- Leads in application modifications design to maximize integration and streamline healthcare business operations.
- Leads and participates system testing as necessary.
- Provides follow-up, evaluation, and redesign processes and database changes, as necessary.
- Leads the evaluation/recommendations of applications' changes /integration, including technical and programming support.
- Leads in the development of policies and procedures to support healthcare applications implementations
