Summary

We are seeking a Technical Product Owner with strong database and integration experience to join a Medicare Sales & Acquisition technology team. This role involves working closely with engineering teams transitioning into an Agile product model, supporting applications used by internal telesales agents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software product management, experience with sales/CRM platforms, and the ability to guide teams through Agile transformation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Product Owner for engineering teams, driving product vision and roadmap

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements

  • Manage product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery

  • Support Agile transformation for teams transitioning from traditional models

  • Collaborate with engineering teams on application configuration and customization

  • Oversee integrations with systems such as CRM, telephony, and vendor platforms

  • Ensure smooth delivery of tools supporting telesales and customer service operations

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and maintain Agile best practices


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management / Product Owner role

  • 5+ years of experience in software product lifecycle management (end-to-end delivery)

  • 3+ years working with Agile/Scrum teams

  • Experience with sales enablement platforms, CRM systems, or internal business tools

  • Strong technical understanding of:

    • Databases (e.g., MongoDB)

    • APIs and integrations

    • CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)

  • Experience working with teams early in Agile transformation

  • Ability to work EST hours


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Healthcare / Medicare domain

  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Miro, Lucidchart

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and software architecture

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
