Job Details
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Quality Engineer to support manufacturing and supplier quality initiatives. This role will focus on ensuring product quality, driving root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions while partnering cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Support manufacturing quality processes to ensure products meet internal standards and customer requirements
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues using structured methodologies
Partner with production teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance product quality and efficiency
Monitor key quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data analysis
Support new product introductions by ensuring quality requirements are defined and met throughout the development and launch process
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve incoming material performance
Conduct audits of internal processes and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards
Review and maintain quality documentation, including control plans, inspection procedures, and work instructions
Assist in failure analysis and testing to support engineering and production teams
Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality systems
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality engineering role
Strong understanding of quality tools such as root cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA, and statistical process control (SPC)
Experience working within ISO-based quality systems (ISO 9001 preferred)
Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as assembly, electronics, or mechanical systems
Experience supporting supplier quality and working with external vendors
Skills and Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams
High attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in standard business and data analysis tools
