Job Overview

As an Integration Engineer, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining integrations and automations to accomplish various types of data exchanges between enterprise applications. The ideal candidate comes equipped with API development, and automation experience with demonstrated integration expertise in business and technical verticals. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to thoroughly understand business requirements and translate them into robust integration solutions
  • Design and develop scalable and maintainable integrations using middleware platforms (e.g., Workato, SnapLogic, Boomi, Mulesoft, etc.)
  • Develop, test, and deploy new integrations, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Proactively monitor and maintain existing business-critical integrations, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures to minimize integration downtime.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, progress, and potential risks.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers.
  • Document integration designs, configurations, and processes for knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
  • Develop and implement AI-powered automations to streamline complex business processes and improve efficiency.
  • Design and build RPA workflows to automate repetitive tasks and reduce manual effort.
  • Explore and evaluate emerging integration technologies and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and programs for API integrations, data injection, and ETL processes.
  • Design and implement efficient data transformations and mappings between systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and security throughout the integration lifecycle.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven experience with enterprise integration platforms (iPaaS), such as Workato, SnapLogic, Boomi, Mulesoft, or similar.
  • Proficient in programming languages: Python, Java, C#, or similar. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Bash) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of API design principles (REST, SOAP) and data formats (JSON, XML).
  • Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-based integration services.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience integrating CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), and other enterprise applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce APIs (REST, Tooling, Metadata, SOAP). Familiarity with Salesforce Apex/Visualforce is a plus.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience with message queues and event-driven architectures.
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, including OAuth 2.0, SAML, and SSL/TLS.
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycle, systems engineering and business process re-engineering.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to create and maintain clear and concise documentation.

Education/Certifications/Licenses:

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
