We are seeking a results-driven Manager, Information Technology to lead this team of integration engineers, extension developers, and technical analysts including both direct staff and managed vendor resources. This leader will bring deep, hands-on Oracle platform expertise and the ability to scale impact through people, process standards, and architectural governance. Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Vendor Management
- Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing team of integration engineers and extension developers direct employees and managed service vendor resources.
- Provide coaching, career development planning, performance management, and skills gap analysis for all direct reports.
- Manage vendor SOWs, deliverables, and relationships; hold third parties accountable to quality, timeline, and contractual obligations.
- Partner with IT leadership and HR on workforce planning, hiring, and onboarding.
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) & Agentic AI
- Own the full lifecycle of enterprise integrations built on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Govern OIC development standards across adapters (REST, SOAP, FTP, DB), scheduled orchestrations, event-driven flows, and error handling patterns.
- Lead the team's adoption of Agentic AI capabilities within OIC, including intelligent process automation, AI-assisted orchestration, and enterprise agent frameworks.
- Define and enforce OIC best practices for retry logic, fault management, performance, and monitoring.
Oracle Cloud ERP & HCM Integrations
- Oversee the design and delivery of inbound and outbound integrations for Oracle Cloud ERP (Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain) and HCM (Core HR, Payroll, Talent, Benefits).
- Manage FBDI/ADFDI file-based data load processes and HDL/HCM Data Loader configurations for large-scale data migrations and recurring feeds.
- Collaborate with business functional owners to define integration requirements, data mapping, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure all integrations meet audit, compliance, and business continuity requirements.
OCI Data Integration (OCI-DI) & Fusion Data Warehouse
- Direct the architecture and delivery of OCI-DI pipelines for enterprise data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
- Oversee the Fusion Data Warehouse (FDW) including subject area governance, data model customization, and BI reporting layer management.
- Partner with data and analytics teams to ensure pipeline reliability, data lineage, and data quality standards across Oracle and third-party sources.
ATOM Feeds, API Gateway & Middleware
- Manage the design and consumption of Oracle Cloud ATOM Feeds for real-time and near-real-time change-event integration with downstream systems.
- Govern API Gateway configurations: routing policies, throttling, OAuth 2.0 / JWT authentication, and API versioning strategy.
- Oversee the full API lifecycle design, documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger), publication, and deprecation ensuring stable, secure service contracts.
PL/SQL, BIP Reports & Oracle Database
- Provide technical leadership over PL/SQL development, including stored procedures, packages, triggers, and database-layer transformation logic.
- Manage delivery of BI Publisher (BIP) reports: RTF template design, data model development, bursting configuration, and scheduled report jobs.
- Oversee Oracle Database schema management, query performance, and coordination with DBA resources.
- Establish coding standards, peer review practices, and regression testing frameworks for all database and reporting deliverables.
Technical Documentation & Architecture Review Board (ARB)
- Establish and enforce standards for integration design documents (IDDs), solution architecture diagrams, API catalogs, and operational runbooks.
- Lead documentation reviews to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with enterprise architecture standards prior to deployment.
- Represent the Integration & Extensions team at Architecture Review Board (ARB) sessions prepare, present, and defend canvas submissions for proposed solutions.
- Evaluate ARB submissions from peer teams, providing structured peer review on integration patterns, security posture, scalability, and platform alignment.
Governance, Financial Planning & Continuous Improvement
- Define and enforce development standards: naming conventions, Git-based version control, CI/CD pipeline practices, and change management processes.
- Establish SLAs and KPIs for integration platform reliability, error rates, and deployment throughput; report regularly to IT leadership.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts including automated regression testing, OIC/OCI observability dashboards, and self-healing integration patterns.
- Participate in annual budget planning, cost tracking, capital funding requests, and total cost of ownership modeling for the integration platform portfolio.
- Stay current on Oracle platform roadmaps and proactively assess the impact of platform releases on the integration and extension landscape.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of relevant enterprise IT experience, OR Master's Degree with 8+ years with a minimum of 5 years in a people management or team lead role overseeing integration and/or technical development teams.
- Minimum 5+ years managing cross-functional teams of staff and vendors in delivery of enterprise Oracle Cloud integration and extension solutions.
- Demonstrated history of leading complex, large-scale Oracle Cloud integration projects in production enterprise environments.
Technical Expertise Required
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC): Deep hands-on experience across integration patterns, adapters, scheduled orchestrations, and lifecycle governance.
- OCI Data Integration (OCI-DI): Pipeline design, data flow management, and integration with OCI object storage, databases, and ERP/HCM systems.
- Oracle Cloud ERP & HCM: Integrations for Financials, Procurement, Core HR, Payroll, and Talent modules; experience with FBDI, HDL, and ADFDI.
- ATOM Feeds: Design and consumption of Oracle Cloud ATOM feed-based integrations for event-driven data exchange.
- PL/SQL: Advanced development of stored procedures, packages, cursors, and performance-tuning for Oracle Databases.
- BI Publisher (BIP): Data model design, RTF template authoring, bursting, and scheduled report delivery.
- Oracle Databases: Schema management, SQL optimization, and collaboration with DBA resources on production database environments.
- API Gateways: Policy management, authentication/authorization, routing, rate limiting, and API versioning.
- Fusion Data Warehouse: Subject area management, BI reporting configuration, and data model customization.
- Agentic AI within OIC: Familiarity with AI agent frameworks, intelligent orchestration patterns, and AI-assisted process automation within the OIC platform.
- Technical Documentation: Authoring and reviewing IDDs, solution diagrams, API specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger), and operational runbooks.
- ARB Canvas Review: Preparation, presentation, and peer evaluation of architecture review submissions; ability to clearly articulate solution tradeoffs to senior stakeholders.
Leadership & Business Skills
- Proven ability to manage and develop both direct staff and vendor resources in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
- Experience with financial planning including annual IT budgets, forecasting, cost tracking, work estimation, and capital funding requests.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex technical concepts for business audiences.
- Ability to build and deliver architecture presentations and solution concepts in a business-oriented manner.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills across IT and business functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud Specialist, OCI Foundations, Oracle ERP/HCM Implementation Professional).
- Experience with Oracle VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service) or Oracle APEX for UI extension and custom application development.
- Familiarity with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and subject area customization.
- Exposure to Agile / SAFe delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with hybrid integration scenarios involving non-Oracle platforms (Salesforce, Workday, MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps, etc.).
- Understanding of data governance frameworks, master data management (MDM), and data quality practices.
