Job DescriptionIn this role you will:- Design, develop software in a fast-paced, agile environment using modern tools and technologies
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and application experts to turn PET/CT imaging needs into clear software requirements
- Translate product vision into prioritized user stories and deliver high-quality solutions on schedule
- Design and implement high-performance, reliable software for distributed processing and data-intensive image acquisition subsystems
- Lead and participate in integration and verification at component, subsystem, and system levels
- Stay current with research and industry trends in PET/CT acquisition technologies
- Partner with architects and product leaders on multi-generation technology and roadmap planning
- Improve team efficiency through reuse, simplification, and continuous process improvement
- Write high-quality, standards-compliant code and actively assess and improve application performance
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Experience in professional software development
- Strong experience with C/C++ and object-oriented design
- Experience developing software on Linux (x86) systems
- Working knowledge of configuration management tools
Desired Characteristics- GEHC experience in EEDP leadership development program
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a global team setting
- Experience with high-performance or parallel computing concepts and tools
- Familiarity with PETCT or PETMR Image acquisition processing
- Background in performance-critical system design and architecture
