Role Overview
In your role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Partner with C-suite stakeholders across our industry to understand their challenges across Proposition, Sales, Service, Marketing and Product, and co-create conceptual target states
- Define solution architectures that span the Client domain to make conceptual targets implementable
- Include appropriate vendor platforms to deliver target business outcomes (e.g. CRM, CLM, CDP, CMS, Marketing Automation, Sales Enablement etc.)
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of solution architectures and Client platforms
- Lead our internal development of proprietary IP and technical accelerators
- Engage with leading vendors to stay abreast of their capabilities, and establish house views on their relative strengths and limitations
- Mentor and coach junior members of our highly talented, motivated and ambitious team of solutions and technology consultants
- Be mentored and coached by industry-leading asset and wealth management business, data and technology architecture specialists
Role Requirements:
- Overall 8-10 years of hands-on experience as a data engineer/architect
- Microsoft Fabric Data Engineers with experience in building data models, data architecture and data pipelines into Microsoft Fabric Data Platform
- Experience in implementing medallion data architecture
- Implementing data quality checks
- Experience with various data modelling techniques like snowflake, start schema
- Deep understanding of the Asset and/or Wealth Management value chain, spanning multiple client segments, investment products, and operating models.
- Must be comfortable leading executive-level workshops, steering committees, and program forums.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management, including experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, & AWS
- Strong understanding of investment products and asset classes, including Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Alternatives, with the ability to translate investment and business needs into operating and technology design requirements
- Experience with integration of cloud-based architecture (Snowflake, Azure, AWS) is desirable
- Proficiency in data modelling, data governance, and data quality management across investment data domains (i.e., transaction, position, security, and ABOR/IBOR)
- Openness to travel depending on client preference
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills
- Entrepreneurial approach and commercial awareness
- Proven experience in building and delivering solutions for large-scale transformations
