Job Description:
AFT (Automated Functional Test) / Debug Engineers focus on identifying and correcting failures found during system testing and initial production builds. The role involves deep failure analysis, test setup configuration, and optimization of automated test flows. Engineers partner closely with hardware and firmware groups to expand test effectiveness, resolve design gaps, and improve overall product reliability. The position is hands-on, requiring direct interaction with test equipment and detailed reporting to support corrective actions and quality gains.
Core Responsibilities:
• Investigate and isolate system-level hardware and software faults.
• Develop, modify, and maintain automated functional test plans and scripts.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing teams to eliminate recurring issues.
• Record findings, generate defect documentation, and refine test processes.
• Contribute to yield improvement and reduction of production-related failures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a comparable discipline, with practical experience in system diagnostics, automated test environments, and structured debug techniques.
