Jeffersonville locationis looking for a full-time,
Commercial Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of diagnosing, maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles and equipment and perform preventative maintenance. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong work ethic and quality workmanship. What you will be doing as a Commercial Mechanic:- Perform mechanical work including but not limited to alignments, brakes, suspensions, electrical, hydraulic, kingpins, fluid changes, and DOT Inspections for commercial and light truck applications.
- No engine or transmission work is performed at this facility.
- Providing guidance and training to other team members
- Helping to assign jobs and duties to team members
- Assisting with scheduling customer jobs
- Helping to motivate team members and keep them on task
- Maintain and control parts and supplies inventory.
- Track and record work performed and create work orders for customer jobs.
What We\'re Looking For:- Six years of general mechanical work experience, including at least 3 years of experience with commercial vehicles.
- Experience doing commercial vehicle alignments is a must.
- Must have own tools and tool storage.
- Experience working with computer point of sale software is a plus.
- Possessing a CDL is a plus.
