Director, IT Infrastructure

Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Director of IT Infrastructure to lead and optimize our enterprise infrastructure operations. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the performance, scalability, and security of our systems across a nationwide organization with thousands of users and hundreds of locations. Based in Manchester, Connecticut, this position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring occasional travel to the corporate headquarters.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy in alignment with business growth and operational goals.

Oversee the performance and scalability of hybrid cloud environments, including Azure, to ensure efficient operations.

Manage and optimize Citrix solutions to deliver secure and seamless experiences for end-users across multiple locations.

Collaborate with teams to maintain and enhance Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and identity management systems.

Implement and refine Zscaler and Okta solutions for secure access and identity governance.

Lead initiatives to improve automation, operational efficiency, and system performance.

Establish and maintain high availability standards, achieving 99.99%+ uptime for critical infrastructure components.

Contribute to the management of the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.

Work closely with stakeholders to align infrastructure capabilities with business expansion objectives.

Support proactive monitoring and incident response to minimize disruptions and maintain service excellence.

Requirements

At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Strong expertise in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure cloud platforms.
Hands-on experience with Citrix solutions and hybrid cloud environments.
Proficiency in network security tools and platforms such as Zscaler and Okta.
Demonstrated ability to lead IT projects and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
Advanced knowledge of backup technologies and Cisco systems.
Proven track record of maintaining high system availability and operational reliability.
Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing teams.
