Summary

Role: Share Point Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: Long Term

Job Summary:

This role supports a State client's Knowledge Management and Data Modernization program. The SharePoint Developer will design and build the SharePoint Knowledge Library, metadata framework, and documentation structures to support governance, process consistency, and long-term knowledge retention.

Key Responsibilities:

Design SharePoint Online architecture including site collections, libraries, metadata structures, and navigation.
Build content types, templates, forms, and documentation frameworks.
Implement tagging, search optimization, permissions, and content governance models.
Integrate SharePoint artifacts with Azure DevOps for traceability and workflow alignment.
Support Knowledge Management Framework (KMF) deliverables including taxonomy, content hierarchy, and metadata standards.
Develop automated workflows using Power Automate where appropriate.
Maintain content lifecycle management, versioning, and retention policies.
Collaborate with Governance & Change Management Analyst to implement documentation standards and content organization.

Qualifications:

4+ years of SharePoint Online development/administration experience.
Strong skills in metadata design, taxonomy, and knowledge management.
Experience integrating SharePoint with Power Automate, Power BI, and Teams.
Experience building templates, workflows, and content governance structures.
Strong documentation and collaboration skills.
