Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Technician / Lab Technician to support validation and qualification of storage devices (HDD/SSD) used in enterprise server platforms. The role involves executing drive testing, analyzing results, troubleshooting hardware issues, and supporting lab operations.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute drive testing on enterprise servers (e.g., PowerEdge)
Install, configure, and validate HDDs, SSDs, and storage subsystems
Analyze test data for spec violations, reliability issues, and performance gaps
Perform hardware troubleshooting to component level
Assemble/disassemble drives and test units (DUTs)
Set up and operate lab equipment, servers, and test environments
Rack/stack servers, cable connections, and verify system functionality
Collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to resolve issues

🔹 Required Skills

Strong understanding of computer hardware & server components
Experience with hardware testing / validation / lab environment
Basic knowledge of storage technologies (HDD, SSD, RAID)
Familiarity with Linux / system-level debugging
Ability to analyze logs and test data
Good communication and documentation skills

🔹 Preferred Skills

Experience with enterprise servers (Dell PowerEdge, etc.)
Exposure to firmware / validation testing
Scripting knowledge (Python / Bash) is a plus
