Role summary
Client is looking for a senior Infor CSI / SyteLine Technical PM Lead who can own the end-to-end configuration of the CSI modules in scope and lead the direction of a Visual to SyteLine 10 migration. This person is not a generic ERP resource. They must be able to translate validated business requirements into working system design and configuration, coordinate SMEs, partner with DBAs on data migration, and be personally accountable for go-live readiness.
Core requirement
The consultant must already know Infor CSI / SyteLine well enough to independently lead and direct a Visual to SyteLine 10 migration with limited hand-holding. If they do not have that level of depth, they are not a fit.
Required qualifications
Product and migration experience
- Deep hands-on experience with Infor CSI / SyteLine
- Direct experience leading or heavily owning Visual to SyteLine 10 migration work
- Proven ability to configure CSI modules end to end, not just advise on process
- Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing ERP environments
- Experience supporting conference-room pilots, testing, cutover, and go-live stabilization
Functional experience
The consultant should have strong experience across the business processes most likely to be affected in a migration such as:
- item master and product structures
- BOMs
- routings
- jobs / work orders
- inventory
- purchasing
- customer and vendor master data
- order management
- WIP
- finance-related structures
- security roles and permissions
- workflow and process design
Delivery ownership
The consultant must be able to:
- own end-to-end configuration of the CSI modules in scope
- translate BA-approved requirements into system setup and design decisions
- coordinate the broader team across business SMEs and technical resources
- identify gaps, risks, and design decisions early
- escalate to DBAs and technical teams when data migration or conversion issues arise
- drive the system toward a production-ready state
- own readiness for go-live, not just provide recommendations.
Data migration and conversion experience
The consultant should have practical experience with:
- data mapping and data conversion strategy
- master data review and cleansing
- migration of items, customers, vendors, BOMs, routings, jobs, inventory, open orders, and WIP
- reconciliation and mock conversions
- partnering with DBAs or technical migration resources
- evaluating historical data conversion scope and interface dependencies.
Testing and cutover experience
The consultant must be able to lead or coordinate:
- prototype / conference-room pilot sessions
- unit testing
- integrated process testing
- user acceptance testing
- converted data validation and reconciliation
- cutover planning
- go-live execution
- hypercare and stabilization
