Job Title: Prompt Engineering & Claude AI Design
Location: Reno, NV
Duration: Long Term
Client: Direct
Job Role:
We are looking for a sharp, people-first AI Consultant to help our organization go from 0 to 10 with Claude. You will embed with teams across HR, Finance, Legal, Operations, and beyond — understanding how they work today, identifying where AI can genuinely help, and building the prompts, workflows, and habits that turn that potential into daily practice. This is not a developer role. There is no coding required. What it does require is intellectual curiosity, strong listening skills, and the ability to translate fuzzy business problems into crisp, effective prompts — then coach teams until using AI feels natural.
Required Skills:
Design and iterate on Claude prompts tailored to each team’s specific tasks, tone, and compliance requirements
Hands-on experience with Claude or similar LLMs and know what separates a mediocre prompt from a great one.
Build prompt libraries and usage guides that teams can reuse and adapt independently
Test, refine, and quality-assure outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and safety
Partner with department leads in HR, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Marketing, and Operations to understand their current workflows and pain points
Run structured discovery sessions to surface high-value AI use cases — from document drafting and data summarization to policy Q&A and onboarding support
Document current-state processes and map them against AI-ready opportunities
Train department users through hands-on workshops and 1:1 coaching sessions
Create simple, jargon-free how-to guides and templates suited to non-technical audiences
Track adoption, gather feedback, and continuously improve based on real usage
Maintain a cross-functional AI use case backlog, prioritized by effort and business impact
Provide regular progress updates to department sponsors and leadership
Identify when a use case is ready to evolve from assisted prompting into more advanced automation (flagging for future scope, not building today).
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in a consulting, change management, or enterprise training role
Familiarity with business functions in regulated industries (e.g. Finance, Healthcare, Legal)
Exposure to enterprise AI tools or LLM platforms beyond consumer-grade usage
Basic understanding of data privacy and responsible AI principles
