Summary

Java Developer eTrading (Fixed Income)
seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with proven experience in electronic trading (eTrading) within the Fixed Income space. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance trading applications that support our Fixed Income business.

Must-Have Skills

Strong proficiency in Java (Core Java, multithreading, collections, performance tuning).
Hands-on experience in eTrading systems within the Fixed Income domain.
Solid understanding of market microstructure, order management, and trade lifecycle.
Experience with messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, JMS) and low-latency systems.
Familiarity with FIX protocol and electronic trading workflows.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize Java-based applications for Fixed Income eTrading platforms.
Collaborate with traders, quants, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure low-latency, high-throughput system performance for real-time trading.
Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to maintain system reliability.
Work closely with infrastructure teams to enhance scalability and resilience.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements in Fixed Income trading.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to other asset classes (Equities, FX, Derivatives).
Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and caching solutions.
Prior work in Agile development environments.
