We are hiring a NetIQ Developer to join our team remotely.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions that control user access across enterprise systems
Support and enhance IAM provisioning and access management platforms, with a focus on NetIQ / OpenText Identity Manager
Automate user lifecycle processes such as onboarding, role changes, and offboarding (joiner/mover/leaver)
Troubleshoot and resolve complex identity, access, and entitlement issues across integrated systems
Develop and maintain custom integrations using Java, scripting, and REST/SOAP APIs
Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs and configuration guides
Perform root-cause and impact analysis to identify issues and recommend long-term solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/DevOps environment to deliver secure, scalable IAM solutions
Ensure IAM solutions align with security, risk, and compliance standards and best practices
Qualifications
Experience as an IAM Engineer, with hands-on development experience using NetIQ / Micro Focus / OpenText IAM tools
Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including provisioning/deprovisioning, identity governance, RBAC/ABAC, and least-privileged access
Experience building and supporting IAM provisioning tools such as NetIQ Identity Manager, SailPoint IIQ, Oracle Identity Manager, or similar platforms
Proficiency with Java development, scripting (JavaScript / ECMAScript / shell scripting), and API integrations (REST/SOAP)
Demonstrated experience with identity lifecycle management, including birthright access and role-based provisioning
Experience working in Agile environments, with exposure to CI/CD and DevOps tooling (Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence preferred)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis of complex systems
Familiarity with risk and compliance frameworks, such as NIST, SOX, PCI, or HIPAA
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, cross-functional engineering team
